Technical Questions

What is The difference between the 'Pro' and 'Reg' version of your trims?

Firstly there is no difference in product performance between the ‘Pro’ and ‘Reg’ versions. This is just a naming convention for the type of installer.
‘Pro’ versions have holes punched into the up-stand,and are fixed to the wall with tile adhesive. ‘Pro’ are typically used by the professional installer.
‘Reg’ (Regular) versions do not have holes and are stuck to the wall with a sanitary grade silicone such as Sealux-N.
In the case of a repair job only the ‘Reg’ versions can be stuck < em > < strong > over the tiles to make a waterproof seal.

What is a Sealux Trim?

Sealux Trims are extruded PVC profiles that are available in 3 different widths, namely 15,20 & 25mm wide and lengths of 1850mm.
There is a patented bond breaker tape pre applied to the seal that allows the Silicone to stretch when joint movement occurs. This is essentially why Sealux Sealing trims offer the best sealing solution on the market.
